Our Story
Our Purpose
Playland Casino operates as a ground-level digital gaming venue and exclusive membership club situated at 8/9 Talbot Street in Dublin 1, with the postal code D01 RD25, Ireland. It positions itself as the inaugural digital casino in Dublin, uniting electronic slot machines, digital roulette terminals, and poker tables all within a single central location, positioned just a short distance from O'Connell Street.
Our goal is straightforward: a cozy, efficiently managed space in the heart of Dublin where grown-ups can spend their night playing games. All gaming occurs onsite — Playland Casino does not operate an online casino, and this site’s purpose is to provide location details like operating times, membership guidelines, and special offers.
Access to Playland Casino is restricted to individuals aged 18 and above. Upon initial entry and for any guest who looks under 25, photographic identification will be verified. The establishment also provides a comprehensive 11-step safer gambling resource, which includes the toll-free National Gambling Helpline at 1800 936 725.
Our Values
A few principles shape how the venue is run, from the door check to the cash desk.
Adult-Exclusive Policy: Memberships are available solely to individuals 18 years or older. Upon their initial visit, all new members must present a valid passport or driver’s license for verification. Additionally, any guest who appears to be under the age of 25 may be required to show identification, regardless of existing membership status. These measures ensure the gaming area remains an adults-only environment.
Direct Cash Play: Wagers are placed using physical currency, in euros, directly at the venue's cashier station, and prizes are distributed on the spot without any deductions. This setup eliminates the need for digital accounts, avoids storing payment card information, and ensures immediate prize collection without delays.
A Cozy Environment: The casino floor is smoke-free, and patrons receive free coffee, light bites, and drinks from the bar. Attendants are available during all operating hours — from 10:00 to 00:30 Sunday through Thursday, and 10:00 to 01:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
